602 Squadron Museum Association Events and News
50 School Children Visit the Museum
Wednesday 17th of March saw over 50 school children visit the 602 Squadron Museum Association. They came from Bridge of Weir Primary School and were keen to learn more about World War One, World War Two and the Home Front. The day involved fun quizzes, lots of object handling and a clear favorite - holding and learning more about decomissioned weapons from both conflicts. Children explored the realities of war: comeradeship and bravery together with the physical and emotional harships endured by the armed services and the home communities.
