Dougal McIntyre on his father David McIntyre
David Fowler McIntyre joined the 602 Squadron in 1927 aged 22. He remained in the air force until 1937 when he left as a Flight Lieutenant. In 1933, McIntyre and his commanding office, Lord Clydesdale, became the first men to fly over Mount Everest in an operation which produced the first aerial photographs of the peak of Everest.
