Redhill. Training Flight. Climbed to 23'000 feet and fell out of formation. Crashed at Pilstyle Farm near Cuckfield. Investigation revealed he had asked his rigger to turn off oxygen before flight.
Buried at Cuckfield and re-interred in Norway.

Died - 02 January 1942
RAF Kenley. 'Rhubarb' to St.Valery. Attacked two Heinkel 114 aircraft. Reported Engine problem. Did not respond to R/T. Reported ' Missing'.
Buried in France and re-interred in Norway.

Died - 01 August 1944
B.11.Longues. Attacked something East of Conde. Seen to burst into flames at 1000ft. Assumed to have been hit by enemy ground fire. Aircraft disintegrated.
Buried in Normandy and re-interred in Norway.
